It was easy. Just a short audio file. and also a grammar test. Mostly choice answers. You'll wait for the results , some times it takes just a short period of time.
I applied online. I interviewed at Rev (New York, NY) in Mar 2016
Interview
The interview is a brief grammar quiz followed by a test in transcribing some poorly recorded tape about ladders. The tape seems like it is difficult to transcribe, but that is really the quality that you get when you start working at REV because the more experience transcriptionists snatch up the better tape samples before they drop down to the rookie level. Take your time, read the style guide, and you will pass. They want you to work for almost no money though.
Easy process to get in as long as you trust your dialect and no human interaction at all. All you do is to pass the Transcription part and English MCQ.
You need to pass a toting test and submit a sample of your work to assess your writing and language proficiency skills. Then once you pass, if you are accepted, you will be able to get trained and have your work graded and paid for.
