After nearly two weeks of submitting samples and completing online assessments, they scheduled a twenty-minute interview with me. The interview itself was superficial and most of the questions were unrelated to the job responsibilities. At the end of the conversation I was told that there were several more steps to complete before receiving an offer, including more samples and interviews.
Later I received a stock email about how they went with other candidates. I don't take the rejection personally, but I would have appreciated some legitimate feedback after having wasted so much time on their seemingly endless hiring process.
