The first interview was through a WhatsApp interview without informing that it was a video interview, as the interviewer mentioned it's going to be a quick chat.
2nd interview require to go down to the office and the whole interview took 2 hours. They've got 3 units in the same building so they've brought me to view the 3 units and took 10mins in this process. Thereafter it's talking and asking of questions.
They noted my expectations and offered me the role of Assistant HR Manager instead of HR manager on the same day. I took a day to consider and wrote to them to accept their offer the next day.
There's no reply back from them until I asked again whether is their offer still valid. It took me to surprise that they informed me they've decided to go ahead with the first candidate whom they've offered. I would have gladly accept the fact if they told me they'll consider me rather than giving a straight offer.
Unprofessional way of handling recruitment and offering to candidates. The impression givenseems like whoever they interviewed, they'll offer them. And whoever is the lowest price they'll choose the person. They're like shopping for the lowest rate candidate.
Another point to note is that they're not willing to let their staff know how powerful LinkedIn is for their career path and how valuable their staff are in the industry market. This is so they're able to keep their staff and not wanting the competitors to proach their staff, until the staff understands that they've been underpaid.
Overall, this is a time wasting interview as it took 2 hours which drives to nowhere.
