I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at RentSpree in Nov 2022
Interview
Communication with my HR point of contact was prone to delays (and even delinquency), it started with a LinkedIn message, where i expressed interest in the position, but i didn't hear back from my POC until i followed up later.
they started with scheduling an initial technical interview with a senior dev on the team, which went well and i moved to the next step, cultural fit and meeting the CTO and tech leadership.
discussion with the CTO (a guy with less years of experience than me and visible weak people's skills) was weird, he was condescending and kept asking me questions from a position i held 2 years+ ago just because it matched what was i applying for, nevertheless i already made it crystal clear that most of what I'm currently doing is outside of my role responsibilities and well into the position i was applying for at RentSpree, but that wasn't adding up for him.
After doing both the cultural fit and leadership interviews, I was told that i'll get an answer within 4 business days, 7 business days went by, and I didn't get a response, so I sent a followup email, to find out that it's a rejection.
