I went through a lengthy 4-round interview process at rennie, which felt excessive and a poor use of applicants' time. In addition to the interviews, I was asked to complete two assignments—one writing and one design—both of which added to the time investment. The entire process stretched over six weeks and included an in-office interview. After submitting my assignments, I had to follow up because they never responded. When they finally responded, they said it would take a few more assignments and weeks to get back to me—an absurd request after such a lengthy process—but I never heard from them again.
Throughout the process, they repeatedly emphasized that the culture at rennie is intense, fast-paced, and involves challenging clients. This, combined with the lack of follow-up, made me question whether the demanding work environment they described would be a good fit.
