I interviewed back in February 2019 for a position on Related's Hudson Yards team through a referral. I interviewed in person with the VP of Marketing, which went extremely well. Questions were asked about my background, PR experience, tourism experience and what excited me about the Hudson Yards project. She told me it would be by end of month in which they would get back to me and the next step to meet with HR and another VP. A month passed and I heard nothing, even after an email follow up. Decided to call them and the assistant told me the VP would call back, never did. Finally got in touch four days later and she told me they were onto round two and couldn't tell me anything else; five months later the position is still posted. I even followed up with human resource for feedback and to get some closure(who also reposted the job on LinkedIn) and they said she would investigate what happened, but never heard back. I was completely ghosted, which was unfortunate and unprofessional.
