I applied online. I interviewed at Regions Financial
Interview
Fill out and submit application online. Had to take a little test to simulate being a teller. It was really easy but you will need good internet. Phone interview and then in person. It was rather straight forward but I did almost right it off because it took a couple of weeks before I heard back.
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Regions Financial (Jackson, TN) in Nov 2011
Interview
Initially submitted an application online and then met the HR representative at a career fair. Application to hiring seemed slow. It took a month and a half from my first contact to a job offer. It took about a week and a half between each step: apply, skills test, first interview, second interview, drug test, job offer.
The Human Resources team in my city was very professional, organized, and courteous. My representative made extra efforts to make sure my benefits were started on time and that I was kept informed on the hiring process.
My first impression with the company ethos was very positive.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
During the first interview I was asked if I was "comfortable explaining and recommending products to customers." What I did not understand at that time and that could have been communicated more clearly to me was that the primary method of evaluation for my job was meeting referral (sales) goals rather than cash handling or record keeping accuracy.
