I applied online via Red Bull website in the middle of January and received an e-mail after the first week of February inviting me to conduct a video interview. I have not yet received a response and it has been five weeks after the video interview. The Red Bull Internship website says it will provide a response “either way.” After e-mailing for a status update, I did not received a response. Though the suspense of hearing back isn't fun, it is understandable for a company the size of Red Bull to take longer to follow up. While I understand and believe this, on Red Bull’s internship page it notes the dates for when final round interview will be held (March 23-24th for LA). I figured I would be notified at least two weeks prior (I had other plans that weekend that I put on the back burner depending on what I would hear from Red Bull). It was my mistake to wait and believe that Red Bull would respond in a timely manner. Now I assume I am not interviewing next weekend since they didn’t respond and my plans for that weekend fell through because I waited too long to secure my plans/purchase my plane ticket. I was unpleasantly surprised by Red Bull’s lack of professionalism. I will update this post upon further correspondence with the company.
