      Program Manager Interview

      26 Apr 2010
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Seattle, WA
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

The process took 2 days. I interviewed at RealNetworks (Seattle, WA) in Apr 2010

      Interview

An employee referred me to this position. I had a phone interview with the Hiring Manager and HR lasting for about 20 mins each.A week later I was asked to interview with a panel of 5 people from upper management ranging from 45 mins to an hr with each of them. They asked me about my previous work experiences to see if there was a match between what I had accomplished and the job I was interviewing for. Everything went positively but it looks like they have a number of applicants who might have more experience in Program management. This position did not need a technical background so I was not asked any design or programming questions. I was tested on communications skills and how passionate I was to build their online community.

      Question 1

I would ideally want a candidate with open source programming background, and you don't have that. What special qualities do you have that would want to hire you?
