The lack of communication from your team is unacceptable, and I will not stay silent about it. Candidates are tired of recruiters and companies ghosting them after putting in the effort to go through the interview and application process. It used to be that you would get an automated rejection email but now, not even that. Scheduling an interview for a management level position and then not showing up? Not only that, but refusing to acknowledge any follow up emails asking for an explanation? There will always be a surplus of low-level labor you can pull from, but management level professionals talk. If your company gets a reputation of having a terrible candidate experience, you'll only attract people with no other options. Personally, I'll remember this experience. Just to be sure to steer anyone away in the future that I can.
