      Architectural Designer Interview

      10 Oct 2020
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Penfield, NY
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Razak Associates (Penfield, NY) in Mar 2020

      Interview

I was interviewed after talking to the HR associate at a job fair. When I arrived at the office, there was no receptionist in the front office. After 10 minutes nobody came to get me; I went into the office to let someone know I had an interview. The interview went generally well, though I found it strange that my I was told my M.Arch degree put me at a disadvantage compared to someone with a B.Arch, something I've never heard anywhere else. All in all it was a very awkward and disorganized experience.
