Most confusing interview process ever. I applied for a Director of Security position. I was contacted about a lead position for their techs. Okay, I'm thinking -- I have that experience and can do that job. I went so far as to verify my application and response to make sure I hadn't mixed up my applications. Then the next email was about an Assoc Director position and a Sr Network Administrator position. Turns our the Assoc Director position and the lead position are the same job, different names. The Sr Network Admin hadn't been listed yet. Still nothing on the Director of Security position. During the HR interview, we defined my application as being for the Assoc Director position. Next interviewer thought me better suited for the Sr Network Admin position, so we switched again. Admittedly, my more recent experience is with systems, so I didn't mind. But, at this point I really have no idea what I'm interviewing for. They claim to put you through at least six interviews, so I'm really wondering what's next, if anything. To top off everything, after interview number 2, I just never heard back -- a bit rude to say the least, especially after a couple of interviews. The first interviewer was professional, the second clearly had little to no experience doing interviews.
