I had an initial phone screen with a recruiter, which was easy. Then I had a phone call with the hiring manager. He asked about my background and qualifications. I was given a homework assignment and brought in for an onsite interview. The onsite was very unorganized. It took them 25 minutes to find an available, functioning conference room. I was being dragged all over until we finally were able to find an open space. The hiring manager was in the room and his boss was on video conference. They started off asking me about my background and experience. The boss was very hostile and kept cutting me off and grilling me about my technical aptitude, which this was not a technical PM role. She then went onto confirm that technical skills are not required. I didn't even get to talk enough about my most recent work experience because she kept cutting me off. I also asked really basic questions and she would come back at me and say, "Why do you care to know that?" They didn't tell me anything about the role or what they are looking for. I presented my homework assignment, which took me a good day to complete because it was so ambiguous. They had nothing to say about it after. I didn't get an offer. Overall, the experience was just ok.
