I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at RaceTrac in May 2010
Interview
I applied online for a store 20 minutes away from me. I had a referral from an employee I had talked to, plus at the job I was with at the time was the mother of a girl that worked in the irving office. I applied on a Wednesday, got called in for a face to face interview in Irving for Friday, and then I got a call back on the following Wednesday saying that I got the job. The woman that interviewed me was very friendly and was interested in my background in the office of a grocery store. I made sure to ask a lot of questions as well. Before the interview I took the time to go to the store that I had applied to and look around so I'd have some good questions for the interview. She was surprised by how much I noticed and remember to ask about as far as certain fuctions worked in the store.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at RaceTrac (Miami, FL) in Mar 2018
Interview
I went in very confident in how to sell. I didn't know a thing about gas stations or food safety. But they saw something in me and made me a manager and trained me in that position from the start and with such patience and constructive feedback.

Question 1
Sell me any product you see right now! From floor to register add ons. I nailed it.
Simple, anybody can pass. 1 on 2, sometimes just one on one. Normally at a store location during the hours of 10 to 3. Quick no more than 8 minutes and they may give you a store walkthrough if it is not busy
