      Interview

3 interviews: first a phone screen with HR, one interview with a hiring manager, a final panel interview with 4 staff members. The process was equity driven and there were many thoughtful questions.

      Interview

The initial interview process has been very easy, with the first part being a phone interview before being selected to interview in person. The initial interview involved pretty standard questions, and communication following the interview was quick and detailed with information on next steps.

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at RTI International (New York, NY) in Jan 2021

      Interview

The interview process consisted of one, 4-hour interview comprised of 30 minute time slots where I spoke with 1-2 people. I talked with people up and down the hierarchal ladder. The questions asked were pretty much the same and consisted of: 1) What interests you the most about working for RTI? 2) Describe your experience and qualifications for the top 2-3 most relevant duties (this consisted of research, project management and facilitation). 3) How do you see yourself growing at RTI? What skills do you want to build / what projects do you want to get involved in? Everyone I spoke with was extremely kind, passionate and respectful of my time. It was very clear from my time speaking with the team that they were supportive and genuinely enjoyed working together on various research topics.
