I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at RTI International in Jun 2012
Interview
HR contacted me first to ask if I was still interested in the job and then proceeded to ask me several logistical fit questions - how soon could I start, how do I feel about long hours, etc. The following week a different HR person contacted me to schedule an in-person interview. This was two one-on-one interviews, one with the supervisor of the job and the other with the HR person. The supervisor explained the job and showed me an example of the type of work and the detail required. The supervisor did not really ask me any questions. It was very unstructured so I felt like I had to steer the interview a bit so that I could assure them I had the experience to do the job. The follow-up interview with HR was mostly a debrief - how did I feel about seeing the work and did I have any questions for them. The week after that interview I was contacted to do a phone interview with the supervisor's boss. This was much more structured with typical behavioral questions including "give me three areas of weakness."
First I got invited for a phone call interview. The second round was a panel interview. The third round is a panel tech interview. After I think only a meeting with HR. (No at offer because I am still in the process)
The questions were mostly about how I interact with teams, rather than about my particular skills. The interview committee was quite large, and consisted of multiple back-to-back meetings that took the whole day.

Name a time when you had to give a team member difficult feedback
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at RTI International (Research Triangle Park, NC) in Nov 2020
Interview
The company was very fast to move forward with the process. The interviewers were kind and professional, it was all online. I interviewed with over 8 separate people, which took many hours over many days, which I found a bit unnecessary.
