The recruitment process consisted of a written test pertaining to my subject of interest(physics). The questions were sort of average, neither easy nor tough.
The next round consisted of a demo class with sort of HR interview post the demo. We were asked to prepare our own topics for the class. However questions were asked from any part of the curriculum.
One of the persons who interviewed me was FTP(faculty trainee program) Physics coordinator of Resonance kota, Mr Sudhir Rathore. He had a very amiable personality and the entire interview process was very friendly and laudable. He was very helpful when pointing out the flaws in my pedagogy.
There was only one con which I felt was not in hiring process but policies post the joining. Resonance will ask to deposit a cheque of 1,00,000 before joining which is although refundable after 3 months(the cheque is claimed if one leaves before 3 months). Further the salary one gets post the training, there is a monthly 10% deduction which is refundable post 2 years.
I completely understand the problem of faculty retention resonance has to face. In my opinion, instead of a negative approach to hinder the same, Resonance must provide incentives to the employees for providing a continuous service, rather than slashing the salaries.
