I applied through university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at RBC
Interview
There were two rounds. Both rounds consisted of a 30 min behavioural and a 30 min case interview. The behavioural was pretty typical but they also ask you about current economic news. The case interviews are usually on an issue that particular interviewer is facing or has faced. It could be operational or market-focused. It is different for everyone.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at RBC (Toronto, ON) in Oct 2016
Interview
First received an email to set up an interview. The interview consisted of a 30min behavioural and 30 min case. The case study was about credit cards, you're required to do an analysis and very simple calculations. Got a call the week after inviting me to the second round. Second round was another 30 min behavioural and 30 min case (two mini case studies). The case was about mortgages.
Apparently there was another round after that which seemed a bit excessive, but received a call letting me know I didn't make it.
