Interview
Standard discussion with another associate and then later met with the lead research analyst. Fairly typical discussion about background, interest in the capital markets, why the sell side, etc.
They ask a lot about willing to work very long hours and if I was willing to work under extreme pressure and tight deadlines.
First round with VP that was online based and it involved motivation questions and a few behavioural/competency questions and most importantly question about key strengths and what the candidate will bring to the role.

Interview
Series of Zoom meetings with the hiring manager, analyst, and associates on the team. About 5 Zoom calls total. There was an excel and writing test to be completed over 48 hours testing basic excel and research skills. The last step was an in-person interview with the analyst and associate on the team.
