I recently completed a hiring process that involved multiple interview rounds, including sessions at 1am and 5am due to time zone differences. Although I ultimately wasn’t selected, the experience reminded me how important clarity, respect for candidates’ time, and thoughtful interview planning across time zones can be.
Every interview is a learning opportunity. While the process felt more checklist-driven than conversational, it helped reinforce what I value most in a role: genuine engagement, alignment on expectations, and a mutual understanding of experience and fit.
Not every opportunity leads to an offer—and that’s perfectly okay. What matters is maintaining professionalism, staying resilient, and choosing to move forward with companies that truly appreciate the expertise we bring.
