I applied online. I interviewed at RALLY in Mar 2026
Interview
Extremely drawn out and frustrating interview process. What was initially presented as a fairly straightforward HR Manager search turned into a 2+ month process involving multiple rounds, constant delays, shifting timelines, and repeated promises of updates that rarely came when stated.
The role itself appeared to change significantly throughout the process, including a major salary range adjustment and evolving expectations around scope and seniority. It became increasingly clear that there was little alignment internally around what they actually wanted or how decisions were being made.
For a company centered around communications and people focused work, the candidate experience felt surprisingly disorganized and inconsiderate. Candidates are expected to invest significant time, energy, and emotional bandwidth into these processes, and this one felt unnecessarily prolonged from start to finish.
The process ultimately reflected an organization that struggles with decisiveness, internal alignment, and respecting candidates’ time.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Many of the questions focused heavily on performance management and PIPs.
The interview process had three rounds - first with a general hiring manager, then with two sets of team leads. In each round they asked detailed questions about how my experience might make me a fit for the role, and to assess my experience using the tools required of the position.

Interview
Pretty strong interview process. Was asked strong questions, and was challenged. Team interview felt rigorous but warm. I enjoyed getting to know the team and was really excited for the role.
