Quixel interview questions

The interview process was quite standard and familiar. With the one notable exception. During the interview process a key piece of information was left out and not brought up during the process. This was crucial for the role, even though it wasn't in the requirements for the role itself. The fact they forgot to address it during the interview process was the reason they retracted the offer, after already having offered to me and reassuring me the role was mine.

First I received a small test completed that. It was a long test because I literally had to take dry a leaf and take pictures of it. Then was shortlisted for an interview overcall. Then they somehow forgot that I was going to be interviewed. After the first interview(in Pakistan over zoom) had another with HR, they told me that I'll have another interview with 3D Artist lead(in UK over zoom) which then happened and it went well. The person who interviewed after completing the interview told me HR will contact me in few days. That few days turned into few months. It all started in Sept and in Janaury I got the email that they they made the decision to not move forward at this time. Which is by far the worst way to tell someone they are not selected.
