      Senior Visual Designer Interview

      29 Apr 2026
      Anonymous interview candidate

      No offer
      Negative experience

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Quinyx (Stockholm, Stockholm) in Mar 2026

      Interview

The process included a logic/personality test, three rounds of interviews, and two case studies. I was told each case would take 1-3 hours. That estimate might be relevant if all assets and templates were already in place, not when you're building everything from scratch and trying to make a great first impression. Both took closer to a full day each. Total time investment was roughly a full work week between prep, interviews, and cases. During the case presentation, they mentioned offhand that they had four or more candidates doing the same case studies. That means multiple people each spent the equivalent of a full work week on this process. That's a significant amount of someone else's time to treat as disposable, especially in a job market that's already very brutal for candidates. The rejection came as a generic "we went with someone with a different background" email with a thumbs-up sheep gif attached. If background was the deciding factor, why was I asked to build two case studies first? That question was never answered. Candidates should go in knowing this process is long, the feedback loop is poor and they don’t value the candidate's time at all. Manage your expectations accordingly.
