      Senior Project Manager Interview

      13 May 2026
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Quicken in Apr 2026

      Interview

Very disappointing interview experience with Quicken. The interviewer appeared completely uninterested throughout the discussion — yawning multiple times during the interview and struggling to ask meaningful questions. Most of the conversation ended up revolving around current problem statements their team is facing rather than evaluating the candidate properly. The interview lasted close to an hour and the discussion around future roles, responsibilities, expectations, and team plans gave the impression that the process was moving positively. However, after multiple follow-ups with HR, I was eventually informed that the role itself had been changed. Overall, it felt like a complete waste of time and effort from the candidate’s side. The entire interaction gave the impression that the interviewer was either unprepared or forced by management to conduct the interview without genuine interest in hiring. Candidates deserve transparency, preparation, and basic professionalism during the hiring process.
