Many stages - competency tests, assessment centre, final interview. Assessment centre involves a prepared presentation on a topic of your choice, a team exercise where you role play a commission and discuss and justify funding, followed by an excel spreadsheet exercise.
After three 1:1 interviews I had a final interview with a panel of 4 people. After that they never reply to me. Not very respectable to not give me any feedback after all.
