Interview
I applied in person to the NUM and provided resume on paper and via email. Once this had been reviewed I was interviewed by a 3 panel interview team including the nurse unit manager, one of the nurse managers, and a senior CN who worked in the mental health unit. The questions were straight forward, gaining insight into my personality as well as prior experience and clinical skills. The interview while being formal felt casual and not intimidating.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Queensland Health (Logan) in Apr 2015

It was like any other Panel review, It would have been nice to be knowledgeable about what kind of panel questions were going to be asked before hand though.
