I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Qubit (London, England) in Oct 2017
Interview
Applied online then contacted by a recruiter.
- The first round was a coding exercise in codepad with 2 engineers, the exercises gradually became more and more challenging as you passed each one.
- The second round was with another 2 engineers, after a brief chat, they asked a question about designing a system with some concerns of scalability, availability etc. Then there was a short coding exercise in codepad.
Overall the interviewers were friendly and brilliant, the interviews went smoothly. Soon after the second interview, I was invited to the on-side interview, then dramatically, the recruiter blew up the process:
After I obtained the visa for visiting London, I asked the recruiter twice for confirming the interview date, he promised to come back to me soon, and...he disappeared.
2 months later, I asked for reimbursing the cost from my visa application. This time, the recruited answered back and just coldly forwarded my request, with absolute no excuse, like nothing happened. I've seen recruiters forget things and I sort of understand that because they're sometimes overloaded, but at least they'd excuse for negligence. It's really hard to believe that a professional to be this rude: you spent time on interviews and visa stuff, but I just forgot you, too bad for you, no excuse. What an attitude.
You have a brilliant engineering team, don't get dragged down by an unreliable, rude recruiter.

Question 1
Implement some functionalities for building a test framework
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Qubit (London, England) in Sept 2016
Interview
Recruiter emailed me, told about the company and described the position they were hiring for. After a quick phone chat I agreed to interview.
I had three technical skype interviews (two coding interviews and one architecture/design) and onsite interview day (two technical and one soft interview). The whole process was smooth, the recruiter responded quickly and adapted to my schedule.
The whole process took about a month, but my schedule was quite tight, so it would take less if I wasn't that busy.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Was asked not to disclose specific questions. You should be familiar with basic algorithms, data structures, know your programming language and a little bit functional programming. You will be asked about previous jobs/projects you had and the ways you solved problems which emerged in them.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Qubit (New York, NY)
Interview
The interview was refreshing and fairly straight forward. Phone interview with the usual questions "Why Qubit?" and then just background info. There is two face to face interviews after this, the last one being pretty informal.
