Interview
I spoke with one of the head traders. I had a phone "interview", although more a brief conversation. They mentioned that they like people with buy side experience, I said I have that, as I was a buy side analyst and a prop trader before that. They were extremely uninterested. My experience here is that they don't really look for analysts, although they mention on their website that they do. It was a negative experience and I would not recommend interviewing there.

Interview
I was referred to the company through one of their brokers. I was called by the "head trader" on the phone and the entire thing was terrible. The guy must have had a bad day bc he was extremely rude from the beginning of the convo it was clearly going no where.

tried cornering me into a way for him to turn me down. hedge fund experience? yep! sell side? yep! track record? no, I was at a hedge fund trading for the PM. boom - done, we won't hire you. OK or you could just be honest from the beginning and say you're not looking for anyone you have to actually pay a salary to.
