Question 1
How do you develop and maintain stakeholder engagement throughout the sales process? What techniques and methodologies do you implement when navigating a sales cycle?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Qordoba (San Francisco, CA) in Aug 2019
Interview
I first had an informal coffee chat with the CEO to learn about the company, the role, and upcoming product plans. Following that, the formal interview process included a meeting with both co-founders, an onsite where I met with Product, Operations, and Design, a second onsite focused on a product case study, and then a virtual meeting with various engineering and data science leaders.
It was nice to have the opportunity to meet with many different departments, especially the core engineering leaders. I had ample opportunity both during and after interviews to ask questions. I also had the chance to explore the product myself and dive into recent customer learnings. Everyone I spoke to was smart, down to earth, full of positive energy, and genuinely nice. It was especially useful to chat with a number of veterans on the team who've worked together for awhile and could speak to the evolution of the company.

Interview
The initial process was fine, but when it came to the onsite and follow up afterwards it was less than desirable. The hiring manager seemed not interested and I couldn’t get a clear view as to where the SDR Team was heading. After my onsite, he said that they were still interviewing other candidates and would follow up with next steps. It’s been weeks and nothing. It’s okay...this is not the company for me. You can tell how credible a company is by the way they treat their candidates. This company is not that big that they can’t provide a follow up. What a waste of time.
