I did the initial phone screen. That was pretty standard. I then accepted the in person interview. Went to the interview during my lunch break. I got there and no one was at the front desk. I sat and waited patiently, and signed in. While some employees came in and out of the building asking if I had been helped, it was evident my interview wasn’t of much interest.
My interviewer was in an unexpected meeting with someone else. To make matters worse, he came out from that meeting and wasn’t expecting me. So 30 minutes after waiting, we finally start the interview. He asks me to run through my resume which he doesn’t have, (in which I offer to let him look at it on my laptop, but he refuses).
In general, it was very unprofessional. After the interview, I felt like I should have left before the interview started. I rate the interview difficult because of how unprepared they are for an actual interview where they are prepared with interview questions. It all felt like a waste of time.
