I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Qmarkets
Interview
Had an initial 1 on 1 interview with a high level manager (He was a bit distant). Looked like there's a match between what I was looking for and the position offered.
Got a home assignment which required me to learn a new framework.
They estimated it will take about 5 hours to complete, but that turned out to be very, very far from being realistic (even if no learning was required). I spent over 10 hours and submitted a partial yet working solution. After a week (3 working days) got a generic decline email with no reference to the home assignment at all.
The interview was pleasant and concise. I had two interviewers, completed a home assignment, and had two additional interviews, including one with HR. The process was straightforward and smooth. It was good.
Interview process was comprised of an HR interview, following by a couple of interview meetings with the founder and CEO, which took place outside the company offices.
Positive and professional vibe, though the company was very very small back then, so it all felt like a beginning of something that would have allot of potential in the future.
