Poor Candidate Experience
I read the very poor reviews they had on glassdoor and most of the feedback were cringy. I continued with the process as I believed I can make changes if hired.
After my first interview with the staffing agency in london, I was sent a link for a video interview. Completed that and had a phone interview with one of the recruiting managers.
They sent me an invitation to fly to Qatar for a face-to-face interview.
I was excited and i had a huge intention to pitch employer branding and managing candidate experience during my potential face-to-face interview. They clearly dont put effort into these.
Where things began to go downhill was when the recruiting coordinator couldnt secure my visa. She has me to go have a polio vaccination. Which I did. She came back to say the visa was rejected.
I bet if I apply for a tourist visa myself, it wouldnt be rejected, it was clearly a case of lack of experience in applying for business visa.
She came back to say the recruiter will get back to me with a feedback and till date no one has called me. No words from the recruiter in charge. No words from the staffing agency in london as well.
They have indeed proven the point of the many poor reviews they receive on Glassdoor.
