I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at QSIC (Melbourne) in Jul 2025
Interview
The process was broken down into three interviews: intro, technical, and cultural fit. QSIC's team was incredibly down-to-earth in every stage. They were supportive, clear, and very friendly. Honestly, most of the time, it felt like a chat more than anything.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at QSIC (Melbourne) in Mar 2025
Interview
The interview process followed a standard format: recruiter screen, leadership interview, system design interview, and cultural interview. While the interview process was friendly and smooth, challenges arose after the job offer.
Obtaining information about the equity offer, such as the ESOP documents, involved weeks-long delays. Despite Qsic being inflexible on the options offered due to internal equity considerations, I accepted the offer.
The contract, received a week later, didn't reflect the advertised remote role. When I requested a contractual change, they offered an email confirmation instead. Based on experience with such agreements being disregarded, I insisted on at least a counter-signed document.
Hours later, the job offer was rescinded immediately before a long weekend, with the stated reason being a perceived lack of trust. Efforts to re-engage in a conversation to tackle their concerns were rejected.
