I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Q2 Software in Mar 2016
Interview
A recruiting manager reached out to me directly because he received my resume from an HR professionals network in Austin. We made plans to talk the next day after doing some research. Never was able to get back in touch with him.
A week later, I get a robo-email from one of the recruiting coordinators to set up the call with the directors the next day. When the time for the call came, my interviewer got on almost 10 min late, was completely disengaged, hardly asked any questions, and had a hard stop at the end of the half hour. I hardly had any time for questions.
12 days go by and after several check-in emails and phone calls, I finally get another robo-email saying they went with someone else (not surprisingly). I absolutely thought I got the short shrift, and good luck trying to get anyone there to answer your phone call or reply to your emails.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Q2 Software (Austin, TX) in Aug 2021
Interview
I initially met with the an internal Senior Recruiter for about a half hour. It was a conversation style interview focused on the company, the vision for the role, and my experience and qualifications.
