The process took 1 day. I interviewed at PwC in Oct 2011
Interview
I was interviewed with an Assurance Partner. It was an on-campus interview. The whole interview process lasted about 30 minutes. I made mistake while saying hello to the partner. I've never met her before but I?said it's great to see you again. Also, as for the question "why did you leave your previous job", I didn't address very well. The answer I gave was too general. What the interviewers anticipate are specific answers which can illustrate your motivation and drive. As for the teamwork experience question, I used too many adjectives. Better answers should be more story-like and include more examples.
As for the ""why master of accounting" and "why PwC", answers vary. Based on what I heard, those people who got in may have very good or bad answers.
Why PwC? Why audit?
Why did you leave your previous work?
Why master of accounting?
Teamwork experience? Leadership experience?
How do you handle pressure?
Do you have any questions?
It was a good interview process where they test your accounting knowledge and ability to work in a team. They also ask you behavioural questions as well. Best to prepare as much as possible beforehand
Very straightforward, partners & senior managers were friendly and asked expected technical questions. Key thing to stand out is to really research the company and how the grad programme works - focus on exactly what you will do in assurance, what the role would look like and also some basic accounting understanding.
online application for graduate role had initial aptitude test. I passed and did the one way digital interview which was just answering 2 questions where you record your self. Passed and went to assessment center which was a group case study and interview.
