Purple Beard interview questions

The interview process was a two stage process. Unfortunately after getting through and even being given a start date, it wasn't clear to me it was a conditional offer and when the firm had some funding issues. This should have been communicated from the get go and I feel a little blind sighted and its left me in a difficult situation.
