I applied for the EA role through LinkedIn and received a text message from HR expressing interest in discussing the position further. While I appreciate their outreach, I was surprised that they suggested a video call during my working hours. I suggested we could connect on Saturday, but I was then asked to schedule the call myself. As someone who’s spent the last 6 years supporting founders in a fast-paced environment, I value the importance of a respectful and personalized interaction. A more proactive approach from HR would have created a more positive impression.
