The first interview is a series of multiple choice tests on being a caregiver. Regardless of your score you take a drug test (oral mouth swab), and then get asked back for another interview. During this first interview you are not told the salary. The second interview took ALL DAY. It wasn't an interview at all. it was videos on eating, caring for elderly, etc. it was UNPAID ORIENTATION they called an interview. At the end you are hired on and paid 8.00 an hour regardless of your education or experience. No travel costs or benefits. 8/hr would cover the gas to go to all the pts homes in Tracy, stockton, and modesto!
