      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Providence (Renton, WA) in Apr 2015

      Interview

I initially interviewed via Hireright which is a recorded video interview where I was asked questions online and recorded the answers via my PC at home. I was then asked to come in for a 1.5 hour long interview. I met with the Lead and the department manager. They did a very good job of educating me about the Providence Mission and described what it was like to work in their envt. The asked me about my many years of experience as an agency recruiter to determine if I would be able to make the transition into becoming an internal recruiter. I found that we clicked right away. The 3 of us were finishing each other’s sentences and laughing about previous candidate experiences we had over the years. I can honestly say that this was one of the few interviews I had over the course of my career where I felt completely at ease, comfortable and it was actually fun.

      Senior Recruiter Interview

      5 Nov 2014
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Providence

      Interview

1st interview was a phone interview, which was great - one on one with the Manager - a week after I applied. Got called in for an in-person panel interview a week later. Panel interview was unorganized, awkward and uncomfortable - for the interviewers! It felt like it was the first interview they'd ever been a part of, which is shocking because they're Recruiters. After that interview I never heard back, not even an email. I have heard from other colleagues that they also went through multiple interviews, only to never hear back again.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Most of the questions were extremely specific behavioral interview questions. They were very specific to the role they are hiring for, and not the roles the candidate has previously filled. Prepare to get very creative, and dig into the far reaches of your experiences!
