I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Propoly (London, England) in Jul 2016
Interview
Sat in a noisy restaurant in a shared workplace Second Home with their MD.
Was asked questions about my experiences with rental market, he talked me through their product vision and some general non tech questions. Obvious at this point they've not read my CV as he's reading it as if for the first time in front of me.
Was asked what I wanted money wise and then told I had to do a tech test. I was then handed a piece of paper and asked to write (on the paper) a Fibonacci sequence method in ruby that could fit on one line of code. Was told I had 15 mins and he just got up and left me alone in the restaurant.
I did the test in minutes and sat there until he showed up again 20 minutes later.
I made an excuse that I could not stay longer as I had another meeting scheduled across town.
Interview was just comical as I did not meet anyone technical, never got to meet whoever the line manager was and was not asked any questions pertinent to the role I had applied for.
