I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Project Invent (Chicago, IL) in Sept 2025
Interview
The director of the department (not the direct supervisor) reached out to me on idealist to set up a brief call. We spoke between 25 to 20 minutes , and due to the position being limited it seemed they wanted to hire someone who hit every single qualifications they were looking for and then some, plus a culture fit.

Question 1
Please describe your experience working in education.
This interview process included the most intense "interview assignment" I've ever participated in that included creating a volunteer recruitment strategy and a new presentation that we pitched in the final interview. It was way too much work to ask of an applicant in my opinion.
I applied online. I interviewed at Project Invent in Aug 2022
Interview
The screening and scheduled two interviews that followed went pretty quickly as the hiring manager got back to me within no time. The last interview, however, I was left waiting for almost a week when it was eventually told to me that I didn’t get the offer. I was asked for references despite them not being followed up on. The work assignment was also a waste of my time even thought I put my all into it. I recommend doing the bare minimum on them because it is not worth giving them free insight.
