I had an impression the interview process was just a formality. It feels like they already have someone for the position. Reason being was that in the beginning of the interview they were saying how difficult it would be to hire someone for xyz reason, and the interview started in a very awkward note.

Question 1
First they stated how hard it was to get hired, adding difficult steps to get hired. then they asked standard questions about myself and my experience.

Pretty simple, answer basic questions about your quota, expectations. Make sure to have a lot of questions prepared. Interviewer was nice to talk to. Doing this for word count. Etc.
