      Manager Interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Progenity

      Interview

I was recruited and got a phone interview and then asked for a final onsite interview in Dallas. My interview was on a Monday and flights and hotel confirmed on a Thursday. The recruiter told me that I was one of three and the company’s top pick. The very next day, three days before my onsite interview, the recruiter called me and told me that my interview was canceled and they were going with someone who had more billing experience! I was not even given the chance to interview face to face. It was crushing. How does a company go to that extreme and then call off the entire thing. How does one go from top pick to not a chance?
