They schedule an interview, set up a time, then after confirming they cancel it with the claim that they "Have enough candidates that they'd rather interview instead". No reason given outside of that. This is likely more nonsense from the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion brigade who aren't interested in you if you seem too white, straight and male.
I applied through other source. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Procom (Vancouver, BC) in Dec 2017
Interview
A recruitment agent called me stating that he saw my resume on Monster and asked if I would be interested in Business Analysis contract with Telus. I explained to him that although I have BA skills and experience however my focus has been in project management. He responded that based on my resume I am very qualified and would be on the top of the list. So based on his advice he proceeded and submitted my resume along with others and indicated we should hear back within two weeks at most. It is then when things went dead... the two weeks went by with no update so I did follow-up be email. The response was there is delay and it could take another week. Again couple of weeks went by without update and had ping them again. He responded that he will check and get back to me by end of week. Couple of weeks went by with no update! I did not follow-up after that - clearly lack of professionalism
