ProFed Federal Credit Union interview questions

Started with a phone interview that was very standard, had a face to face interview that I thought went really well and HR said they would let me know. I sent a follow up email a week later and let them know I’d be on vacation out of the country, but I would respond asap. They said they were finishing up interviews and hoped to have a decision in the following week or so. HR had even contacted all my references and they responded positively. Then, I was ghosted. I emailed multiple times and even left multiple voicemails. Pretty devastated after what felt like a shoo-in interview to not even get an email saying they chose someone else or that the position was eliminated.
