Applied online and was contacted a few days later. Spoke with HR, who was nice enough. Asked me about my background and a few STAR questions. Next met with two managers of the role, over the phone. Conversation was OK, tho a bit awkward because of the connection. Two days later, I was rejected with zero explanation which I found odd. I have the exact experience in this exact field, so why I was blown off was confusing. I also am not a fan of companies who do not offer feedback when asked. Based on feedback I’ve read and from people I know that work there currently, it’s not a good atmosphere so I dodged a bullet.
