It’s disappointing to see another startup with strong potential undermining itself through poor recruiting practices. I applied for the Lead Recruiter role, was promptly contacted, and had what I felt was a strong interview, including discussions about availability for next steps. Then, silence for a week.
When I followed up, I received a generic rejection email. I requested feedback (twice) and never heard back. This lack of communication and respect is not just frustrating, but it signals how little the company values the candidate experience.
In today’s market, especially when so many talented recruiters have been impacted, it’s disheartening to see cofounders and leaders display this level of insensitivity. If this is how they hire, I can only imagine what it’s like to work here.
