      Wheelchair Attendant/Skycap Interview

      30 Jun 2016
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Seattle, WA
      Declined offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at PrimeFlight (Seattle, WA) in Jun 2016

      Interview

A brief phone interview, asking me why I was interested in PrimeFlight. I was honest and told them I had applied to several airport jobs because I was passionate about starting my career in the airport, and PrimeFlight was one of the few companies that fit my career goals and my customer service background. She then asked for me to come in for an interview the next day. Very friendly and easy-going, and a very pleasant experience overall. She sat me down, and gave me a personality test to do which was mostly checking to make sure I didn't have a history with violence and drugs. Afterwards she asked me a few questions and then let me know that she would like to hire me after they did a drug screen test and got my airport badge sorted out. I was offered the position, but I let her know that I had another interview in a few days for my dream job, and asked if it was ok to get back with her about the job. She was more than happy to, and glad to hear that I was going for my big goals. If I don't get the job from my first choice, this company that's being run in SeaTac seems really great and friendly and I hope she'd still be willing to hire me depending on what I hear back from the airline I'm getting interviewed by.

      4 Sept 2013

      San Antonio, TX
      Accepted offer
      Neutral experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at PrimeFlight (San Antonio, TX) in Sept 2013

      Interview

I received a phone call to come in for an interview for a baggage handler position. I was excited because that's what I wanted but when I arrived for the interview I was told it was for a wheelchair attendant position at $6.15/hr + tips, or minimum wage if I didn't make enough with tips. I was disappointed but said I am interested anyways. Now I have to schedule a homeland security appointment to get security clearance which will cost $100, and then wait 3 more weeks after that to go through. I am probably going to look for another job in the meantime and if no luck then I will accept.

      Question 1

The only question I was asked was "Why do you want to work at the airport?"
