The most unprofessional company I've ever had an interview with. A small startup pretending to be a big player. HR people contacted me via LinkedIn and offered me for an interview. The interview took 30 mins, with one super arrogant woman and another one from HR who looked like a newbie. They asked for my salary expectation, and I answered with the minimum wage standard for Master's grad in France as prescribed in laws, and they said OK no problem. The HR lady said after the interview she would inform me the results within 5 days because they wanted to start with me immediately. Broken promises: no news for over 2 weeks, emails went unanswered, until over a month later she finally told me they already found someone else. I thought, okay, no big deal, although they smashed my hope after the interview with that promise. However few days later a headhunter from an agency contacted me via LinkedIn and guess what? She said she was looking for a candidate for Pretty Simple, exactly the same post I was interviewed for! I was intrigued so I sent her my CV... And guess what, she said later on, "I shared your CV with them and they said they already interviewed you few months back." Ok so they were lying from the beginning about finding someone else already. Making it even funnier, a friend posted a question in our Facebook group of translators network, asking about job interviews at Pretty Simple as she felt like she was being played with. Then few other people came forward and complained about the same thing. At that moment we realized this company is just far from professional and is full of lies. It's like a company that was newly established and not knowing how to do recruitment. I'm glad I didn't join this "new kid on the block".
