I felt the interview was not well organized. They spent more time trying to sell me on the company than asking me questions. They didn't have a set of questions that they were prepared to ask. While the company sounds like a great place to work, starting pay for someone with coding certification leaves a lot to be desired. For an inexperienced certified coder, they're still offering $2 less an hour than the 10% of similar employers in Ohio would are already offering less than the average starting pay, but with the promise that a "bump" in pay would be "coming" once you met certain criteria. For an "inexperienced" coder they're offering $10.50/hour and they have no room or interest in negotiating that rate.
